Getting your first egg gives you a delightful feeling, and there are different choices you can take depending on what you want to do with your egg.

How to Know If There's a Future Baby In the Egg

  If you want to know if there's a baby in the egg, follow these steps.

  1. ​Get a small flashlight, LED will work.

  2. After about 5 days, get the egg an go in a very dark room. Get the flashlight and shine it directly on the egg. All the light from the flashlight should be on the egg, so hold your hand around the edges of the flashlight. Look for any embryo inside the egg. 

  Want to get ducklings from the egg?

 If you want to get ducklings from the egg, follow one of these steps, Remember, you cannot expect to get ducklings through any way 100%, but you can increase your chances. 

  1. Get/make an incubator. Incubators are effecient because they simulate the female ducks' warmth on the eggs. An incubator would increase  your chances of hatching an egg.  

  2. If you do happen to have a chicken, put your duck eggs under your chicken. Chickens tend to be more broody then ducks, and their more likely to sit on your duck eggs more than your ducks.

​   Duck eggs are  delicious, nutritious, and thought by some superior to chicken eggs. Duck eggs in my personal experience are tastier than chicken eggs. Duck eggs are said to be alkaline producing foods, which basically means that  duck eggs are an  anti-cancer food. Also, duck eggs stay fresher for a longer period of time than chicken eggs, because of their thicker eggshell. However, duck eggs
